Hi Ellen! We’re back from Burbank, and we’re more revved up than ever. While we’re not scaffold-climbers like Gwen Stefani (OMG XOXOXO!), we’re power-vloggers, which is why we’re putting our phone numbers out in the vlogosphere in the hopes that you will contact us and buy a Dream House Raffle ticket for YBCA!
NICK: 415-425-8316
WREN: 415-290-7978
Call us! Call us! Call us! Tell us what we have to do to become awesome heart-shaped blips on your radar screen!!!

We came we saw we did not conquer. Three hours waiting in a parking garage, stadium seats, muggy weather (in black jeans), was ALL worth it to be in the presence of Ellen and watch No Doubt, George Lopez and the amazing Russian Bar Trio perform. Although Ellen didn’t take notice of our efforts this time, Nick and I are not giving up! We know Ellen knows we love her and we know she wants to give back to such an awesome cultural organization.
ELLEN, we love you! Thanks for hosting such a rad party!

Nick’s completely obsessed with the Beyoncé song, Diva. So obsessed that not only is it his ring tone and he wrote this parody, he tried to choreograph a dance for the both of us just in case we are lucky enough to be in Ellen’s presence.
Sorry folks, I tabled that idea to save face. And no, there will not be a posting of us practicing.

Sometimes, it’s important to just look up at the clouds and think about Ellen’s gilded robes and No Doubt. We want to meet Ellen SO BAD. Ellen would be bonkers for YBCA! Oh yeah: Ellen, you really should become a fan of us on Facebook!!!

The Flipcam is working again, and as you can see, we’ve put it to excellent use by documenting Karen the mini hippo. Karen feels very strongly that Ellen should buy a raffle ticket and urge her fans to do the same. Like us, Karen loves Ellen and depends on this blog for updates on our misadventures. Karen is very web-savvy.

Nick and I are soooooooooo excited. We were contacted yesterday from someone from the Ellen Show surveying us on how we got our tickets. Apparently, we got our tickets the first try which is not how it normally happens. Anywho… we were contacted again today by the production team, um… can I say nervous. I don’t want to say the wrong thing and I don’t want to leave any info out. I think I handled the pressure well even though Nick was next to me making faces. Where is the flip cam when we need it? That’s a whole new story. In the absence of the flip cam Nick and I will be improvising. Stay tuned…
